Another one of my favorite "newgrass" bands is Cadillac Sky. Their website is mega-strange. If Bill Monroe had been around for the internet age (he passed in 1996, before "everyone" had a webpage), I seriously doubt he would understand a bluegrass band's website looking like a video game.
I'm not sure I understand it either.
Of course, Cadillac Sky is like, rock'n'roll bluegrass, so all they really have in common with the old greats is their instrumentation. That being said, Bill Monroe was the rock'n'roll of his age. And I'm a fan of music from both eras. |
