At least She's the projected winner, with a significant number of counties reporting in.
I hate to see her win. Of course, I'd hate to see Obama win either. Ideally, they would both have lost, but that's pretty much impossible given that it was the Democratic primary.
The good thing is, since she won, that means her campaign is still afloat, and there will be much ado about Florida's votes come DNC-time.
Personally, I can't wait. McCain is going to come out of primary season as clean as newly fallen snow, and all anyone will know or care about the Democrats is either how much they hate America (Hillary) or how much they hate Americans (Barack). Actually, I'm pretty sure Barack hates America as much as he hate Americans, but I say that based only on what his wife has said... oh, and on the fact that he's a raging socialist.
The only bad thing about the continued poo-flinging-fest between Democratic candidates is that the media is only going to cover them. That means, of course, come primary season most Americans will know more about what Hillary's step-cousin's ex-roommate had for lunch two days ago than where McCain stands on actual issues. (Right now, I can say with certainty that I'm pretty sure he stands somewhere on most issues. Somewhere near the middle, but both too right and too left at the same time. For instance, he likes guns except for sometimes when he doesn't, and he is all for homeland security except when he isn't, and he generally stands up for the constitution except for when he trashes it, and he is probably gonna win in Iraq unless he doesn't, but I'm sure he's not gonna raise taxes unless he does.) |
