I recently got a hit for the search term: "florida law carrying gun in "securely encased" bicycle"
I don't know the answer. The law uses the term "conveyance" to describe where a non-cwp-holder may keep a loaded firearm, securely encased. Even if you can "securely encase" a firearm on your bicycle, and the law would qualify it as a "conveyance", I don't recommend doing that for a few reasons. First, when you chain your bike up outside, you don't wanna leave your gun there. So, that means bringing it with you... but if it is "securely encased", that means the second you remove it from the bike, you are carrying a concealed weapon.
Go get a CCW license, and carry your gun on your person. |
