We are set to roll on down to the Yucatan's lovely Island of Women this November (7-14th).
We chose November because its after (most of) the hurricane season, and its not too hot (avg: 70-75F). Last time we were there in August, and it was just too friggin' hot. Plus, being the off season, all the rentals are cheaper, and there are a lot less people.
We are trying to find another couple to go with us, but all of our friends are either too broke or too busy (work, school, etc.)
So if anybody actually reads this and wants to take a scuba trip with us, let me know!
We got a great (off-season) deal on a beach bungalow, which we can split between 4 people if anyone else wants to come.
