All of you that know me, know that I'm a easy going kind of person. Well most of the time. But you definatly know that I don't get mad often. But last night I had had it up to HERE with society, bad men, and George Bush!!!
It all started off so innocently... Imagine me all tired from work laying on the futon. I get hungry eat food and lay some more. Greg calls I tell him to go ahead and brew tonight. I go down stairs not feeling so well. Kinda oouchy and yucky. Greg said innocently enough here drink a glass of wine it will help. So I did, but when I drink a glass of wine I have to talk on the phone.
So I call Aunt Sue because we hadn't talked in a while. She is one of my very favorite people to talk to and the best aunt ever. She's one of those mom's who respect their kids and always knew they were real people. She's just like a friend to them with some guidance. Anyways we're close. So we start talking and then get all fired up on shitty men and politics. I love it when I talk to someone and they just know how you feel and agree with you. Not in a compliant way, but it true aggreence. Some men can be awful to women and we got on that topic. I'm so sick and tired of women liking "bad" guys. As a woman who married a "good guy" it hurts me when I see women who put up with abusive relationships and can't see that they are better than that. Then there are the women who share their bodies with anyone to feel loved. Guys I've been there and only you can change the way you feel about yourself. Only you can stop the abuse and stop the abuse that you are giving you self. Arg!! Ladies some talk to mama Beth she will help you escape. Anyways then I got all fired up about health care. It is rediculas that people can't afford to have medicine when they need it. How can we spend so much money in other countries and have people here who can't afford antibiotics. And then there's the tax cuts, and taking away of over time. I was heated after we got off the phone. Well ok fine I had also managed to finish the bottle of wine by this time so that may have had something to do with it...
And then the Republican bashing began. If there is any one out there reading this that doesn't know me. You won't get the magnitude of this. I am a register Republican and have always supported the party in mind, spirit, and votes. I was the conservitive girl. Until I realized that they are just plain mean people!!! So I needed to tell someone all of this, so after like 8 trys I managed to call Monica. Well Greg actually dialed it, but eh! Who knows what I said to her voice mail, but she called thinking I might be pregnant. LOL No I'm not pregnant!!! Geeze people think once you're married you hve to have kids like NOW. Anyhoo, I was happy to talk to Monica.
A lot of madness insured after this because some @$$hole guy who will remain nameless but be refered to as Snaggletooth. He's one of those "bad" guys at least from what I know. Don't treat a girl baddly and then call my house looking for her, because I'm not going to be very nice to you. In fact I could very possibly be down right mean. And don't keep calling after we told you to go away, it's just going to turn out badly.
So I was fired up and spouting random thoughts of womens rights, hating GW, and then was distressed by the fact that every month one of my potential babies dies. Don't ask I was confused at this point. Kind of like now. I think this post should be called Beth's rambling of randomness that no one will understand. But that doesn't matter. It made me feel better, and now I'm going to go on with my day of sitting here "working." |
