For our fifth anniversary, I surprised my wife with a weekend trip to Disney. Here's a picture of us wearing our attention-getting shirts (Beth's Kalashnakitty, and my Heller Kitty.) Most of the attention was a smirk and a nod, or a "hey, cool shirt." Almost exclusively from Disney employees. My Heller Kitty shirt did, however, get one "that shirt's not nice!" comment from a Disney employee... in the America section of Epcot right in front of Independence Hall.
We also got some strange looks in the Hello Kitty section of the store in the Japan area... |
