This WV Democrat believes Barack The Voodoo That You Do So Well Obama can win West, by God, Virginia... all he has to do is campaign there.
Possible... but instead of just campaigning there, he'll also need to stop being a gun-grabbing socialist with no political experience.
Carnacki believes that just because WV is populated primarily with Democrats and that Mountaineers tend to vote blue, a little campaigning is all that is needed. He neglects the fact that WV won't vote for whiny gun-grabbing socialist (see Al Gore) or a boring gun-grabbing socialist (see John Kerry.) I don't see how a messianic gun-grabbing socialist is gonna be any different. Besides, I believe that the issue of the Second Amendment will keep most West Virginians from voting for Barack a Little Dab Will Do Ya Obama. It should seal the deal for McCain regardless of how much or how little he campaigns there.
Plus, I really don't expect Barack One Plus the Square Root of Five, Divided by Two Obama to campaign in West Virginia more than perhaps a few quick appearances to make it seem like he's not ignoring Appalachia. |
