McCain's houses |

So apparently, people are upset that McCain has too many houses and doesn't even know exactly how many. They should instead be praising McCain for having so many houses! One of the problems in the economy that we hear frequently (well, the housing sector of the economy) is that there is very high supply and very low demand for houses (too low housing prices, which means people can't flip real estate like they used to). What McCain is doing is singlehandedly keeping supply of houses in the market down, establishing an equilibrium price higher than were his houses being sold in the market, thereby fighting to increase housing prices and reverse the deflationary problems we see in the housing market.
Special Note: I in no way support John McCain for President. Furthermore, in reality, the low housing prices are a result of a massive market correction, deflating the artificially exorbitant cost of housing. It's not actually a bad thing that housing prices are low (unless you are trying to sell your house and you thought it actually had appreciated by 200% since you bought it). |
