I did it a while ago, and now PDB Godwins Obama as well.
I never said Barack I am a jelly donut Obama is Hitler... just that there are some eerie parallels. I guess you can think up Hitler parallels for just about any public figure, but when you consider the major things Hitler is remembered for, aside from being a mass-murdering fuckhead, you have to tilt your head to the side and make an 'err-uh-ohhhh' kinda sound.
For instance, Hitler was extremely charasmatic.
Yeah, but so are lots of people.
Hitler was a great orator.
Yeah, so?
Hitler used racial tension for political gain.
Um...
Hitler had a near-religious following.
Ok, getting warmer.
Hitler was a raging socialist.
Aha! I think we're hitting on something.
Hitler was a master of propaganda.
It is getting creepy now.
Hitler blamed the wrong people for his country's ills.
Really creepy.
Hitler took power during an economic depression, promising a better future under his leadership.
Oh no.
Hitler completely ruined his country.
