In addition to being an awesome company with some big balls, Para introduced a lot of tupperware fans to the 1911 platform. Not just Robb, Sebastian, and SayUncle, but a number of their readers as well.
I guess one of the LDA's biggest selling points is that it functions as easily and reliably as a double-action plastic duty gun, but feels nice in the hand and shoots as well as a 1911. So I consider Para's efforts as a significant setback for the "plastic gun revolution". |
