I guess Mr. Jarrett did a good job because Robb actually looks like he knows what he's doing now 
I do like his shiny new(ish) Para "Gun Blog" .45 except for those sharp sights. You have to really whip the slide back to make it chamber a round right (at least with the para magazines.) While that isn't normally a problem, the sharp sights aren't particularly comfortable after a few magazines. I can't say I'm a big fan of the laser... I totally get the training aspect, but for actually shooting I turned them off. For a home defense gun I'd definitely leave them on though.
Oh, and Beth thought it was too heavy. But Robb did teach her the Todd Jarrett Kung-Fu Grip, and it improved her accuracy a lot. She was shooting better groups that tended to extend vertically, but were near perfect on the X axis. |
