Actually, Beth was a solid Republican when we first started dating, and I was registered Democrat (note, that's WV Democrat, not CA or MA Democrat... there's a big difference.) However, instead of causing problems in our relationship it gave both of us the opportunity to grow, expand and refine our political views.
