Yet another well written article that confirms my theory that most of the rest of the world is made up of pansy-ass emotion-blinded liberal weenies. Screw 'em.
"You can't walk up to a supermarket or shop and buy a gun like in the States."
Proof, once again, that our liberal media has given a tainted view of our country to the world. You wonder why the world hates us? It isn't because we stand up for justice, it is because media loves to over-react to things. More often than not, they paint a picture of Americans based on the few terrible people, instead of the teaming masses of good ones. Screw 'em.
Some frenchman says, "when presumably, tougher restrictions, such as those in force in European countries, could at least reduce the number?"
I'll tell you why. Numbers don't matter as much to Americans as our individual rights. Europeans historically have always had a special place in their heart for giving up their rights... giving up in general. Screw 'em.
I'm keeping my guns. I don't care if some frenchie can't defend himself because he hates guns. I can defend myself because I'm not afraid of guns. What does scare the ever-living bejesus out of me is this global tendency to give up more and more freedom in return for a mistaken sense of safety. You will never find me among the socialist scum standing in line to trade their liberty for a comfort blanket.
"...a country that has the notion of self-defense imprinted on its DNA and which considers the right of having guns inalienable," damn strait.
