Since that Taurus I want apparently doesn't exist anywhere, I decided to search elsewhere for a pretty new revolver. While reading his American Rifleman, Greg came across a pretty little gun called the "Lavender Lady" by Charter Arms, and her sister the "Pink Lady". Originally, I had set my sights on the cute purple gun, but after some research, making some calls, and scouring local gun shops, it seems that the Lavender Lady also does not exist. It is probably off somewhere playing with that Taurus. However, if I'm gonna be carrying a gun in my pants, it had better be pretty!
At one shop, we found the Pink Lady, in the spurless configuration which we did not even know existed. I picked it up, and found it to be very light, with a good trigger pull. The frame is pink-colored Aluminum, and the rest is silver. The barrel is engraved with its name:
After trying it on in a BlackHawk IWB holster, I realized my quest for a small, light carry gun was over.
Hurray! I haven't actually shot it yet, but I hope to get to the range sometime this week... and I hope loaded with +p, it doesn't kick like a motherfucker. |
