Squeaky, as eloquently as ever, makes a fantastic point. Sure, it is a point that has been made by nearly every pro-individual activist on the planet, but what makes her comments worth reading is how she attacks the problem. She basically forces the offender to step into her shoes, using their own passion against them.
When I find myself talking guns with someone who doesn't "get it", this is one of my favorite tactics for engaging them. More than a few misinformed anti-liberty types are happy to stick their fingers in their ears and scream "LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU." That is a common response, and there is no help for it. But when you are dealing with someone who truly does value liberty, and even actively campaigns for fill-in-the-blank-rights, Bonnie's method will at least make them think.
If you get someone who is afraid of guns to think rationally about it, then you've won.
