I think it is safe to say the shortage is over. Sure, the prices haven't dropped to pre-oh-my-god-the-democrats-are-in-power prices, but it isn't hard to find 'em anymore.
Which is good, because I just sold my lower. I really didn't want to but, my boat trailer needs replaced, and funds had to be raised somehow. It wasn't really that hard to part with a half-finished firearm anyway.
Back to the shortage though... I just got notice from Anvil Arms that they have stuff in stock. Not just stripped lowers, but LPKs and fully assembled lowers as well. In stock. Like, I could buy one tomorrow if I didn't have to fix my damn boat trailer. Ah well.
Also, In case you didn't hear before, Anvil is now also making high-end Bolt/Carrier groups.
Update: Definitely over. Just saw a complete HBar for sale on a local gun trading board for $865. |
