Does anyone know of a place where you can get information about older Mossberg shotguns? Specifically, dates of manufacture? I just picked up a Mossberg 500BB (16ga) and I was curious about how old it is.

They've got a "Contact Us" selection right at the top of the drop-down menu under the "Customer Service" button - it leads to an e-mail address/link: service@mossberg.com
The instruction says to ask 'em a question - they've also got a mailing address, a telephone number and a fax number further down on the same page.
