|
One of my co-workers was required to do live fire training for his job, and said he scored 10 head-shots. Another co-worker asked, "Why ten? Wasn't one enough? Did you have to unload the entire clip?"
Without thinking, I immediately corrected his use of the term "clip", providing a detailed definition of what a magazine is versus a clip. I did it in the tone of voice I always imagine forum-grammar-nazis using. Then I made a joke about him being ex-Navy, and not knowing anything about firearms.
I need to sign off for a while. |
