So I've been in Mesopotamia for almost 7 months now, and I've resisted the temptation to buy some 5.11 pants. All the other contractors here wears them, but I've been happy with my regular old JC Penny cargo pants. I accidentally left a pair of my pants at home when I was on R&R, so I decided to go ahead and order a pair.
Love 'em. Damn comfortable. Pockets in all the right places. Re-enforced in all the right places.
Funny though, when I asked one of my unit's NCOs if I looked more tactical, he just chuckled and shook his head. |
