Crimes using guns apparently increased in Florida in 2006. So, Charlie Crist, our beloved Governor has suggested that a new law be enacted to prevent this from becoming a trend.
What is the law you ask? Is it "One Gun a Month"? How about a "Gun Registration"? No? Ok, maybe an "Assault Weapons Ban"? Surely it has something to do with "Microstamping." "Magazine Capacity Restrictions" then?
Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.
He said the law would put probation violators back in jail. Novel concept eh? Put criminals in jail. I never would have imagined that would help prevent crime, but if Chuck says so, who am I to argue?
Man, I can be a sarcastic ass sometimes. I'm glad The governor didn't look at a "gun related murder" statistic, and assume that means we need a new gun law. |
