In the last 6 months:
103 of my blog entries were primarily written because I was pissed and/or ranting about something (I'm including all of my "on politics" entries.)
63 were written just because.
That is about a 1.63:1 pissed:not ratio. I only looked at the last 6 months, because that's about as long as my blog has been more political than not, and because counting further back than that would take forever, but I think the ratio remains pretty normal over any time span greater than a month.
