If you buy any ammunition today, leave a note here.
I don't think buying ammo or anything else is gonna do a damn bit of good to deter the Brady Campaign and their wacko buddies from protesting. But I am going to buy ammo anyway. First, because I need some. Second, because you can never have too much.
The third, and most important reason: I love seeing the BC's actions directly increase sales of guns and ammo.
Remember the Clinton AWB? That was the Brady Campaign's doing. Remember what happened when Americans were told that they would no longer be able to buy a semi-auto rifle with a pistol grip stock and removable magazine? (OK, so the ban was even dumber than that, but whatever...) Lots of people went out and bought assault rifles. People who didn't even own guns bought them. Some people bought them as investments, knowing that the price would go up. Some people decided "if the government doesn't want me to have one, I better get one now while I can." Other people just added to their existing collection.
Well, in this case, the Jesse Jackson and the Brady Campaign are trying to hurt the business of gun manufacturers and gun shops around the country. So, regardless of the political fallout, I feel it is my duty to increase ammo sales today, just as a big "Fsck You" to all the socialist, anti-freedom, nanny-statist, America-hating bastards out there.
Today, after work, I'll be at the range. I'm not going to work seriously on my aim. I'm not going to worry about eliminating that flinch when I shoot my M44. I'm just going to put a lot of lead downrange. And then I'm going to buy more to bring home with me. I'm tempted to buy a mousegun too, but we'll just have to wait and see how much money I have after buying a few cases of boooolit's.
