I think Rudy Giuliani failed. The phone call pissed me off. This is mayor-level politicking on a national scale. If it actually works, I'll throw up. He hasn't demonstrated that he understands how serious this issue is. To him, it is just a matter of doing whatever it takes to get at least some of the NRA vote. I'm positive, now beyond the shadow of a doubt, that he is still deeply anti-gun. The last attempt to state otherwise is laden with proof that he doesn't even understand the issue. 9/11 didn't change a damn thing about the Second Amendment. Bogus lawsuits against gun manufacturers don't "take turns" that you don't approve of... the entire concept of suing them in the first place shows what a raging politician you are. It demonstrates, clearly, not only how you don't give a damn about the constitution, but how you don't even comprehend the how the constitution works.
I'd hire Giuliani as the director of FEMA... but not President of the US.
