David Kopel has another good piece over at Volokh.
Anti-rights people love to say "oh, the NRA is just fear mongering... the UN can't take away your guns." Well, here is a good argument that, at least in my mind, puts that to rest. I'm not 100% in favor of disbanding the UN, but I also don't think it can be fixed. We need to neuter it by cutting their funding, and keep a bulldog of a diplomat in the mix. Of course, we can only keep a real badass in there if we have a badass president... I'm terrified that Hillary's lapdog would acquiesce to every one of their socialist demands. |
