Here's a decent article on open carry in Utah.
I say decent, because it seems like the reporter is totally weirded out by the concept of carrying a gun. But he covers a lot of good information, included how clueless a lot of cops are about gun laws.
"Why does Smith feel the need to pack a 9mm Hi-Point semi-auto on his hip?"
A Hi-Point? In case he needs something heavy to crack a coconut open with? Heh.
Aposhian, for instance, says he avoids openly carrying in certain places, such as banks and schools, where he might disturb "decorum." "I don't pick my nose in public, either," he says. Good one. I agree. I like the concept of open carry, but there is a balance between doing so, and "scaring the white people". |
