Well, todays the last day. We got up early. Not. We didn't even get to Penn station until noon. Unfortunately, we can only stay for two more talks (retro computing and hacking cdma prls). Woz is talking for the retrocomputing part... he is retrocomputing. We had breakfast with our gracious guest after another night on an inflatable matress. Its all good.
I wish we could head out later, but I don't want drive home that late.
Remembering the Altaire. Paper tape. Teletypes. Never expected that *g*.
Woz was just making fun of someone who had an wintel laptop, and it crashed. He made a point yesterday, and seems to be continuing today, that simplicity is the most important aspect in computer design. The less chips the better. The less instructions the better. I agree.
