A new captcha idea to eliminate more than just spam. I like my current Fibonacci captcha, and it works pretty well, but this one would be good for anyone who wants to keep people who know nothing about guns from posting on their site:
From my comment at PGP:Take the most common caliber of an m1911, subtract the number of rounds fired by a single pull of the trigger on a semi-automatic pistol, then divide that by the number of Jeff Cooper’s gun safety rules.
Sure, it would only take a few minutes with google to get the answer to that, but you could probably implement a system to rotate a number of similar questions. |
