In case you didn't know, Rep. Frank Peterman (D-St. Petersburg) is trying to make bestiality a felony in Florida .
I'm glad our state legislature has their priorities in line. Yeah, ya know, there aren't more important things to worry about than some hick farmer banging his favorite goat.
Sure, it is sick, and potentially abusive, but is this some kind of epidemic? A catastrophe waiting to happen? No, I think some legislator was upset after hearing that some dude was porking his pig. He probably cried all night about it, while fondly remembering the golden retriever he had as a teenage boy.
Guys, seriously. This isn't an issue. Stop trying to legislate morality. Stop saying "Oh, here's a law we haven't passed yet". Passing a law for the sake of passing a law is a waste of time at best, and utterly retarded at worst. |
