Or that round of .22 short might go on a killing spree of its own accord!
Talk about some rank underbritches. (via War on Guns.)
Things to think about:
To get hold of one of these is not easy. You have to go through a scrutinised search, you need a licence... Right. Here you go into Walmart and buy a brick for $12, knowing that it can't hurt anyone until a person loads it into his firearm, points it at someone, and pulls the trigger. In the UK, they think ammunition is magic.
The bullet, of Swiss origin, was still in its brass casing, complete with enough gunpowder for it to fire itself. You didn't believe me. Apparently "bullets" can fire themselves. Wow.
If it goes bang, it is still lethal. Apparently, they also believe that without a firearm, a .22 short is likely to kill someone. I guess if the folks there hear these lies often enough, they're gonna start believing them. |
