Frankly, I'm amazed someone started asking the question. I'm no surprised at all, however, that none of these candidates have a clue what they are talking about.
A few thoughts:We stopped it for awhile. HRC, regarding assault weapons... by "we" she means her and hubby. Remember, if Sen. Clinton is elected, Bill will also be back in the White House.
But I do think we need a president who understands the sportsmen, hunters who use their guns for lawful purposes have a right to have their Second Amendment rights looked after. Edwards almost had me going there for a second... a southern man, comfortable around guns... Oh wait, he thinks the Second Amendment says something about the right to keep and hunt with "deer rifles". You can take deer, smaller game and varmints with an "assault weapon", but that isn't the point. The point is there is not explicitly enumerated "right to hunt". There is a "right to keep and bear arms" however. |
