Well, my senator (Mel Martinez) endorsed McCain.
Not quite sure how I should take that really. I guess its a big deal in FL, considering how many folks down here seem to like Giuliani. I like Mel, because he's a rare conservative hispanic. That helps. He's also well liked by the media and the community, from what I can tell.
If McCain doesn't pick up Thompson or some other bona fide conservative as a running mate, I still might find it unpleasant to put a check next to his name. |
