Here is the brief.
I just started reading it, but this is my favorite line so far:Finally, Petitioners’ contention that the Second Amendment is not binding law within the Nation’s capital is spurious. That's it. Simple and obvious. No dancing around words like DC does. I've always found it amusing that DC is even bothering with this argument. In my opinion, it hurts their case more than it helps... although when you are desperately grasping at arguments, I guess I can see why they need this one.
Another good one:Most critically, the preamble cannot contradict
or render meaningless the operative text.
I'm sure there will be plenty more. So far, the elegance and clarity of this brief are downright astounding.
