Lawdog points us to a rather interesting group of folks who plan on taking over a military recruiting station in Pittsburgh next Wednesday.
Wow. Good luck with that fellas... you're gonna need it.
Some of the better points of their announcement: "POG will be holding a torch-lit march" (don't catch your hair on fire dudes... grease fires are hard to extinguish.)
"We'll also be bringing a movable cage in which to confine military recruiters" (I can't wait to see the video of hippies running out the door crying and holding their broken noses.)
"the station may be closed and recruiters may flee or hide behind the police" (I don't know if anyone told you this, but members of the US Armed Forces don't "flee" or "hide". They kick ass and take names.)
"we have an opportunity to present the people's story" (Which people? The stupid hippies?)
"the community of Pittsburgh would quickly evict military bases of operation and recruiters" (Hmmm, I'll wager some folding money that you are wrong about that.)
And my favorite:
"And please, scary right wing, we already believe you that you want to shoot us and "kick hippies' asses," no need for the continual attempts to one-up each other with even worse threats of violence. See you at the recruiting station at 6:30pm on March 19..." (Bring it on? Ok then.)
I'll agree with 'Dog and his readers that a big soda and a tub of popcorn would be a requirement if you intend to be in the area of Forbes Ave on Wednesday. I can't wait to see the news reports. |
