If you wanted to piss your company off, you could bring up the fact that Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 requires them to reasonably accommodate your need to attend holy week services. Of course, all that means is they could make your life hell in other ways... but they still have to let you go if you ask them to.
Oh, they're cool with me trading someone shifts. So they are making reasonable accomodations. I would love to screw them if I could sometimes... Anyways, I'm probably going to find someone to cover or at the least I'm sure I could convince someone to work a few choice days, like Wednesday for holy unction and Great Friday. Still, it's just kind of lame.
