Making it (Feel) Safer to Fly? |

By randomly searching people's trunks.
Somehow, I don't feel any safer. Maybe I'll have to have my own trunk searched before I feel safer.
Why in the hell would a terrorist decide to blow up an "IED" in the terminal drop-off area at an airport? Surely, they would attack an easier target with more people, right? I know some anti-American terror groups would jump at the chance to get an explosive device onto an airplane, but this new "random search" has nothing to do with airplanes. This is just an excuse for more security theater... except you have to deal with it even if you are just dropping your mom off at the airport.
Frankly, I want to know what would really happen if someone said "no, I will not open my trunk." |
