BATFE doesn't have a clue.
If the BATFE destroys this piece of history, I would damn well hope that somebody's head ROLLS for it. "In an effort last fall to get special permission to register the gun, town officials approached Tierney and Senators Edward M. Kennedy and John F. Kerry for legislation that would grant the town an exception to the restrictions. Neither Kerry nor Kennedy responded."
Hmmmm... seems like there are a few politicians who deserve to take the hit, should this travesty occur. Kennedy, Kerry... regardless of your absolutely intolerable stance on guns, you need to see this for what it is. By not helping these folks out, you aren't taking a stand against "crime" and "illegal machine guns"... you are spitting on the graves of every American soldier from WWI whose memory ought to be remembered.
