Political Metrics... it is still a baby site, but you all should seriously go there and at least set up an account and click on some issue. If you want to create some as well, you can. Regardless, keep an eye on the site, because it is growing and the technology and methodologies are improving. Plus, the concept is still cool. I predict that this site will replace that diamond-shaped grid for labeling your political "stance". I've spoken with the creator at length, and there are some really cool things going on behind the scenes that will result in some particularly awesome data.
FYI, I'm not getting paid for this, but the site does belong to a friend of mine. This isn't really an issue of bias though, because he's not really that close of a friend and he's a raging liberal to boot, so there's no real reason for me to promote his site other than it is going to be totally awesome!
Anyway, go there, spend some time there, click on some Yes's and No's there. Then go invite all of your friends and family to join in as well. |
