I love Christmas. It makes me happy. It makes me feel all homey and cozy and wifey. Since as you see below Greg's been gone all week, I've been home left to my own devises, which happen to include a lot of red bows. I've been decorating up a storm. I made a wreath with ornaments on it. I strung garland with lights. I made big Christmas bows out of ribbon and wire. I created a table center piece and decorated the ugly brass light about it. I finally feel like a "good wife." I'm making my home all pretty and shiny and can't wait for everyone to come see all my Christmas cheer! hahah I'm such a dork.
Christmas also brings another exciting event. My birthday!
"Yes, I'm a Christmas baby."
"No, it's not too horrible."
"Yeah, I get screwed out of gifts, but it's not to bad."
"Yep, me and baby Jesus same birthday."
So I have been wondering what it's like for people that have birthdays on normal non-holiday days. I've never known what it's like to have a special day just for me. I mean it's nice because on my birthday I get to see my family and all, but it's never just a day for me. It's kinda dumb, but oh well. What can I do?
