Hotels like this one are very quiet. Its a little unnerving walking down a hallway, knowing there are people all around you, and not hearing a single thing. The only thing I've heard in my room so far besides the TV is the plumbing.
Does anyone else ever travel someplace and have the feeling that they are going to run into someone they know? I do all the time. I also think I see someone I know, but of course, it isn't them. Is that because I am used to Morgantown where I know damn near everyone? I always feel that way when I travel... I just don't know if its normal or not.
Well, I'm tired. I have been trying to take a nap since right after class, but all I've been able to do is watch Smallville and Larry King.
I miss my PVR and millions of channels though, even though I hardly watch TV anymore. Even with all of our channels, theres nothing on, but at least it takes me longer to cycle through them when channel surfing. At the hotel I find out there is nothing worth watching in about 4 minutes. I can waste hours doing that at home.
Can't wait to get home. I miss my wife, my dog, and my bed. Oh well, I think I can survive 2 more days. |
