HSN does, at least.
I'm OK with HSN deciding to stop selling fur. Nothing wrong there... even if it was done to shut PETA up. Frankly, I'm not a big fan of fur... IMHO, if you kill it and eat it, you've earned the right to wear it. But unlike PETA, I'm not gonna try and keep other people from procuring, owning, or wearing it.
Now, here's the rub... Although HSN still has some leftover fur items that were purchased before HSN adopted its fur-free policy, the company has offered to donate any fur products still available at the end of the year to PETA for use in its anti-fur campaign.
So, HSN, were I to ever consider giving you my business (which, I have to admit is unlikely anyway) I would have to weigh your affordable, quality merchandise against the fact that you are making a donation to A BUNCH OF FUCKING PUPPY-KILLING DOMESTIC TERRORISTS. |
