I am once again going to the TSA (Technology Student Association) State Conference this weekend. Sure I'm just hanging out with a bunch of middle- and high-school kids, but I think it is worth 1 weekend a year to support technology education in West Virginia. And I have been there every year, save one, since I was in 7th grade myself. If I ever move out of state, I'm going to make an effort to continue with that tradition.
Also, since I'm already going to be out of town, Joe and I are going trout fishing down in the booming metropolis of Neola, WV. Think 1 "General" store, no stoplights, and a few trailers. Great back-country fishing tho.
And the most exciting news... drum roll... we're going back to Mexico. Yes Mexico. Again. We just got back a few months ago. Is that exciting or what? ISR is changing our vacation accrual system to well... not accrue. I.e. - Use it or lose it. So I figure, what could be a better use of my vacation time than sitting on the beach, fishing, drinking margaritas, and trying desperately to remember anything I may have learned in spanish class back in 9th and 10th grade.
Wow, look at that, two blog entries in three days! |
