Darwin has been given a back seat in the daily lives of humans around the world, through the use of safety labels (e.g. - Drano: harmful or fatal if swallowed.) It has been suggested that we could solve the problem of world-class morons by simply removing these signs. Of course, I am in favor of that, but I'm not sure that goes far enough. Here are some ideas for a public ad campaign to thin out the herd:
Homemade hang-gliders with dowel rods, garbage bags and duct-tape
The virtues of using open-flame torches for gasoline tank inspection
Driving with your feet
How to befriend a grizzly bear in 15 minutes or less
Mysterious Red Berries: Nature's Candy
Bare-foot alligator wrangling

Xtreme scissor running
Cleaning a loaded rifle: How to save time at the shooting range
Key phrases to make friends in the mafia
Winter-time roof repair
Who needs seat-belts?
Real men can outrun trains
Maybe it could be a series of "How-to" guides... something like Makezine or LifeHacker.
Any other ideas? |
