I figured it was about time I say something here... Beth and I are moving to Tampa, Florida. I got a good job offer down there, and we decided to take it. It's all kinds of crazy right now... I have to be down there on the 2nd, and Beth has been busy cleaning up the house, getting it ready to sell.
It's crazy how fast this is moving along. I got a call 2 weeks ago, had an interview last week, accepted the job this week, and I have to start in a little over 2 weeks. And all of this is happening over the craziest time of the year! I feel like there isn't enough time to plan everything... just making lots of lists, and checking off things as I can. I still don't know how we are even going to handle some of these ToDos...
<BEGIN INSANE RANT>
We have to: get our house ready to sell, install new carpet, find someone to buy our house, figure out logistics for getting everything done, figure out timing, figure out how we are going to handle moving our stuff, figure out how to move our dog and pet turtles, find a house to move into, find a bank, get a loan, find doctors, find pharmacies, find insurance an company, buy me a new car, get the word out to everyone who needs to know our new address.... the list goes on and on and on. And that's all on top of starting a new job.
<END INSANE RANT>
But... we'll be moving to warmer weather, near the water, near a bigger city where there is a lot more to do. As scared-shitless as I am, I'm still pretty damn excited. |
