So apparently my mother is convinced that I have become a gang-banging gangster. She came to this conclusion after seeing a photo of me on Facebook in which I am holding my Glock (holstered) while also wearing a huge pink cocktail ring, pink pearls, and a "Save the Ta Tas" t-shirt.
Apparently, people will think bad things about me because of this, and I should be very concerned of "what people will think". Now, I also recently got a new tattoo that says Κύριε ἐλέησον (Greek for Lord Have Mercy.) She kinda freaked when she put the gun and the tattoo together in her head. It is a Jesus Prayer tattoo!!!!
So, I guess in my mother's eyes, a picture of me with a gun (exercising my constitutional rights) and a "Ta Tas" t-shirt (promoting breast cancer awareness) as well as some ink (reminding myself of God's mercy) makes me a gangster.
I guess that makes me a white, middle-class, quilting, Christian, house-wife, Republican gangsta.
Man, maybe I should be worried what other people think... |
