This story serves as a reminder of a few things.
First of all, even if you have a concealed weapon permit, it is illegal in the state of Florida to carry a concealed firearm onto a college campus.
Second, if you are a felon, you cannot be in possession of a weapon at all, especially concealed on your person while you are on a college campus.
Third, the laws of this great state, and of this great nation do not prevent criminals from bringing guns onto campus. They do prevent law-abiding citizens from protecting themselves against people who would break the law.
The police caught this one, but they can't get all of them. |
