The local stores are swamped. The local manufacturers are out of stock. Ammo is running low at everything from mail-order shops to Walmart. Plenty of other locations in the country have seen similar reports.
Now, I can report that the search traffic hitting my site have shown some VERY strong trends. There are literally 20x the search hits for people who want to know about gun laws, purchase requirements, locations of gun shops, gun show schedules, places to shoot, etc.
Normally I do a "Search Term Q&A" to answer these questions, but I've already covered most of the important information and people seem to be finding it just fine via Google.
