Question: "How to put back together a mossberg intl 702 plinkster"
Answer: Don't take it apart. Seriously. The internal workings of the trigger in this rifle are borderline retarded. You need at least 6 hands to hold everything in place if you take the wrong pin out.
The Plinkster shoots just fine for a sub-$100 .22 rifle, so be happy with that. Out of the box, the trigger feels like rubbing together two slabs of rusty pig-iron which have been lubricated with course sand. But don't expect to improve on that by taking the rifle apart and polishing the sear (if the strange and awful mechanism can even be called that) with your dremel. The trigger will get better on its own if you shoot it a lot.
If you have already taken it apart... I suggest putting all the pins, springs, and misc parts into a ziplock baggy, and taking it to a gunsmith so he can be frustrated by it. Or better yet, sell it as a parts gun and just buy a new one. |
