To expand on that letter, my permit was revoked in 2004 because when I broke up with my girlfriend, she filed for a domestic violence restraining order, and then called me to tell me that I could have the order dropped and get my guns back if I paid her money. I fought instead. Several hearings and 6 months later, the order was dismissed, and I applied for the reissue of my CCW. It was granted.
This makes me wonder how many of the 5,308 permits that have been revoked were later reissued. I know at least one has.
