In case you haven't noticed, I don't really blog on weekends. I have better things to do. I'm thinking though, it might be a good idea to write a script that auto-posts blogs written during the week. I usually have 3 or 4 op-eds in the queue by the weekend, I just don't get around to posting them until the following week.
All I've done this weekend tho, while the love of my life was visiting The North was clean the house, fishing, and catch a bucket-load of shrimp, which I just finished the last of this evening. I kept telling myself to go to the range and make sure my rifles hadn't decided started shooting straight, but I just couldn't work up the willpower to drag out the old ammo box and drive all the way across town. Ah, lazy weekends. Maybe some evening this week.
Oh, and another quick note: from June 1-8, I won't be blogging. I won't even be touching a computer. I don't even know if there is electricity where I'm going. I'll give you a hint... it is in Canada... you have to take a float plane to get there... and it consists of stalking big swimmy things. Give up? Fishing trip to Lake Atikwa! Massive Northern Pike. Succulent Walleye. Lunker Lake Trout. Oooooooh I can't wait. I'm sure I'll have pictures when I get back. I may even spend less time on Guns 'n' Politics so I can post a good trip report. |
