The article says the he's being charged with a bunch of misdemeanors... I thought being a felon in possession of a gun was a felony. I know possession of an unregistered sawed-off shotgun or "machine guns" constitutes a felony.
My snarky questions is: but how could he have possibly gotten guns when it is against the law?
My real question is: are they really going to lock him up for life? Because they should. A felon sex offender and illegal acquisition/possession of illegal guns... throw away the key.
